Do facultative coral hosts buffer their symbionts in response to thermal extremes?

Presenter: Hannah Aichelman

Session: 7G - What can we learn about the biology of coral reef organisms from ‘omics-based analyses?

Location: Saal Lloyd Room

Format: Talk

My talk will focus on understanding how the coral animal and its symbiont respond distinctly to temperature stress, and investigates whether the coral host is modulating the environment of its symbiont to prevent a negative stress response.
